Definition of a Person with a Disability

The ADA defines a person with a disability as a person who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activity. This includes people who have a record of such an impairment, even if they do not currently have a disability. It also includes individuals who do not have a disability but are regarded as having a disability.

We are only accepting vendors that are people with disabilities as defined by the ADA.

Vendor Categories

We welcome people with disabilities to apply to become vendors at the Festival. Vendors will offer their products for sale to the general public.

All products, including music, provided by vendors should be themed for nature. However, we will consider other products once submitted.

Our vendor categories include;

1. Artisans and Artists - Any creative artistic works including, but not limited to, drawing, painting, photography, writing, music, crafts, candle making, soap making, sculpture, and pottery.

2. Food - Serving of food at the Festival. Must comply with

New York State Department of Health regulations

for Mobile Food Service Establishments and Pushcarts.

3. Music and Entertainment - Limited to 3 performers per group. All performances will be indoors in the Great Room at Paul Smith's College Visitor Interpretive Center (the 'VIC').
